KAPSABET MUNICIPALITY CLEAN-UP EXERCISE Kapsabet Municipality in collaboration with Manchester United fans and Nandi Region scouts today carried out a clean up exercise within Kapsabet town.
Today marks a significant milestone as Kapsabet Municipality Board held its inaugural meeting,electing Mr. Mark Maritim as Chairperson and Ms.Millicent Jelimo vice chair. Established in accordance with the Urban Areas and Cities Act and guided by the Municipality Charter,the board is set to lead the town's transformation into a modern urban center.
Yesterday Kapsabet Municipality led by the acting Municipal Manager Lorreine Jerono, Jared Belio Public Health Officer incharge and Edwin Chirchir oversaw the distribution of cleaning tools & equipment to the cleaners in the public health department. This goes a long way in ensuring that sanitation in the urban areas and beyond are kept at the required standards. It also helps the Public Health cleaning officers perform their work with ease.
